**Tasmania Parliament Backs Maryam Rajavi’s 10-Point Plan, Shocks Residents Who Just Wanted More Sheep**

HOBART—In a stunning move that has reverberated through at least three Hobart social clubs, the Tasmania State Parliament voted in overwhelming support of Maryam Rajavi’s 10-Point Plan for Iran’s future and, just for fun, called for Australia to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization. This comes as a shock to local Tasmanians, most of whom believed IRGC was either a new brand of organic jam or possibly a local indie band.

When asked for comment, Premier Sly Gavannah (who swears he’s unrelated to any bottle shops) said, “We stand for freedom and democracy wherever we find them on Wikipedia. Our vigorous debate lasted nearly 12 minutes, which is a new record for us when Budget Day isn’t involved.”

MPs from both major Tasmanian parties supported the motion, pausing only to Google who Maryam Rajavi was during the session. Sources report a handful of MPs were disappointed to discover her 10-Point Plan offered no guidance for sheep grazing, cider brewing, or footy scores.

Dr. Beverley Oatridge, the Parliament’s unofficial expert on all things Iran, explained, “It’s the principle, you see. If we can’t control parking in Hobart, we might as well control geopolitics in the Middle East.”

Meanwhile, the IRGC responded to Tasmania’s bold stance by unfollowing the official Tasmanian Parliament Instagram account and posting a passive-aggressive story. Tasmanian sheep remained stoic, entirely unfazed by the news.

Critics argue that Parliament could have addressed pressing issues closer to home, like potholes or whether you need a jumper in June, but Mr. Gavannah stood firm: “It’s not every week you get to shake your fist at international supervillains. Besides, what’s international relations without Tasmania?”
