In a bold new episode of “America’s Got Talent for Border Agents,” a teenage US citizen learned this week that nothing says ‘welcome home’ like a surprise game of Constitutional Limbo.

Sixteen-year-old Jamie Rodriguez, proudly wielding nothing but a U.S. passport, baseball hat, and raging teenage hormones, was greeted at the Texas border by agents who, apparently inspired by the dystopian classic “1984,” delivered the ultimate ice-breaker: “You’ve got no rights.”

Unbeknownst to the officers, Jamie had a secret weapon even rarer than a smooth trip through customs—his phone’s voice recorder. As the agents recited what sounded suspiciously like Kanye West lyrics—“You got no rights, you got no light, you got no hope”—Jamie captured the Emmy-worthy performance, including the choreography: handcuffs and a little light shoving.

Border Patrol officials defended the incident, explaining that the Constitution is “like Wi-Fi at the border—sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn’t.” The agency also promised “an internal review,” which sources say involves agents watching the video with popcorn and giving each other tips on trash talk delivery.

Experts say this sort of civil liberties improv is now taught at Border Patrol bootcamp. “We focus on flexibility,” said Chief Trainer Vinnie ‘No-Rights’ Lopez. “One day you honor the Fourth Amendment, the next you play Mad Libs with Miranda rights. Keeps everyone on their toes.”

Jamie was eventually released, possibly after agents realized he knew more about TikTok dances than state secrets. When asked for comment, Jamie said, “I thought my biggest worry at the border would be my mom’s cooking in the trunk, not starring in my own episode of Law & Order: Juvenile Victims Unit.”

Asked how to avoid a similar fate, experts suggest the following: “Keep your phone charged, your Bill of Rights handy, and remember—never out-crazy the guy with the badge.”
